I am especially happy and proud to be part of United Way Romania! And this is because United Way means solidarity, team, understanding and above all a beautiful joint effort!
It is very rewarding to watch the evolution and the impact United Way has had on the Romanian society. And everything that has happened has been made possible by the people who have joined us and who have become aware that your and your family’s well-being is not enough; there comes a time when you have to look around and start sharing with others.
We will never be able to help all those in critical situations, but if we can help part of them help themselves, this will be a great step forward; returning confidence in the power of a united community will be an even greater step forward.
We welcome as many of you in our organization, we are looking for a large diversity of partners and we encourage all suggestions and ideas which will help us and our friends in distress.
