Maressia, together with United Way Romania, will run from 21 October to 31 December 2016 the campaign “Donează din ce se brodează” to provide a hot meal to children from disadvantaged communities.

Whan purchasing any product on the website www.maressia.ro, a percentage of 10% of its value will be donated to the cause. Thus, each purchase will provide one child in need warm and healthy food for a day, a week or even a month, depending on the value of the purchased products. This assistance complements the support children receive through the United Way programs: assistance in day care centers, help with homework, educational and recreational activities, all for them to have a chance at a better future.

Maressa is a 100% Romanian clothing brand, limited edition creations combining carefully selected natural materials with symbol-embroidery. The designer Alina Marica developed the project Maressia employing in her workshop only people from disadvantaged groups, the social approach being a very important component of the brand, and now, together with United Way, the brand reaches more people in need of support.
