Ioana Hațegan

Ioana Hategan is founder of the Law Firm HATEGAN Attorneys, part of GGI Global Alliance, second largest professional alliance in the world.

Hategan Attorneys has been providing corporate legal services for 21 years to foreign investors in Romania (especially from the German speaking countries) in all areas of business law. In addition, Ioana holds an Executive MBA title from SDA Bocconi Milan, a title obtained after an intensive period of 2 years in this prestigious international university.

In 2012 she founded HATEGAN Foundation and started organizing the Viennese Ball of Timisoara, a charitable event under the patronage of the Austrian Embassy and the Vienna City Hall. Hategan Foundation is also organizing a fundraising campaign called „an Edelweiss flower for a hot meal”, by distributing among employees of partner companies, broches in form of an edelweiss flower for a donation of 2.5 EUR – a hot meal for a child in difficulty supported by United Way.

Between 2018 and 2020 Ioana served as President of the Board of United Way România and from 2024 she is Co-Chair of the Tocqueville Society.
