Mihaela Peneș is Managing Director, Markets Head România & Bulgaria, CEE Investor Sales for Romania & Bulgaria & HMCs, Citi

She has 20 + years of experience in financial services. She has been with Citi since 2006, where she has held increasingly senior roles across customer service, sales & trading and markets businesses.

Mihaela has been appointed Markets Head for Romania and Bulgaria in 2022. In addition to that, Mihaela is heading the Financial Institution Sales and Solutions for Romania, Bulgaria & HMCs for the past 10 years with an overall experience in FISS of 14 years.

Mihaela is a graduate of both Economics and Law, has a Master’s Degree from DOFIN – Academy of Economic Studies and a Chartered Financial Analyst certification issued by the CFA Institute.
