Alexandru Reff

Alex has been the Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Romania and Moldova since 2017. He has a solid track record of collaborating with foreign investors across various sectors, as well as an extensive knowledge of the legislative framework and tax environment. Over the years, he has been involved in various large-scale business initiatives with implications in fields such as finance, risk management, governance, technology, management, and sustainability. In this capacity, he has the privilege of interacting with executives, diplomats, and government officials.
Alex is also a board member of prominent business organizations (FIC, AmCham) and has chaired various committees, including taxation, labor, competition, real estate, and education.

Alex has been loyal to Deloitte for over two decades—this is where he started his career as a graduate in 1998, holding various local and international roles, primarily in Bucharest, but also in Paris, where he was seconded early in his career. He is the founder of Reff & Asociații, the law firm member of the Deloitte Legal global network, which has become one of the largest firms of its kind in the country.
